The Trouble With Eating Clouds: A Collection of Mysteries, Magic, and Madness is a collection of short stories written by Edmund Schubert before he became editor of InterGalactic Medicine Show. The stories range from Twilight Zone-type tales to mystery and crime tales to historical stories to oddballs that defy easy classification. Also collects the full run of the popular (but short-lived) “Dedd & Gohn” comic strips, as well as several comic-strip scripts that were never released. The material is arranged chronologically, with essays accompanying each story, making the development of the author over time an interesting part of the reading experience.
